“The mind, when housed within a healthful body, possesses a glorious sense of power.”
— Joseph Pilates
This is the first port of call before any studio session. It is 100% about you.
The teacher will take a a brief medical history and a dynamic postural assessment as you learn some of the basic Pilates exercises. By the end of the session the teacher will have created a program that is specific to your body and personal goals.
You can choose a 1/2 hr or 1 hr session depending on your needs. At the end the teacher will talk to you about what pack or class will benefit you the most.
A private session is ideal if you feel you need the teacher's undivided attention and prefer to workout in a totally private environment.
It is also a beneficial way to start, but not compulsory, if you are a brand new to Pilates, have a serious injury or are working on very specific athletic conditioning.
A Duet session is a happy medium between a private and a 4:1. Also great for couples or friends who want to workout together.
As with all of the Studio sessions your workout is specifically designed for your body to make sure you are improving each week.
A small group studio session of 4 students 1 (4:1) teacher is the most cost effective was to have an amazing Pilates session.
After your initial consultation your teacher will come up with a specific Pilates path that is tailored to your body. In the group class each person will be following the program designed for their body. We believe no two bodies have the same needs. Every session you attend will be different, as each week you will experience different Pilates equipment (we promise you will never get bored!)
Our teachers are master multi-taskers. You will have your teachers guidance the entire session but will also learn how to independently move through some of the Pilates series.
